FiftySix have been a group now for eight to nine years (but have been family for much longer). We are Chennine Howitt and, Brother and Sister; Paul and Danielle Smith. All three of us had an early passion for writing, singing and performing music coming from a musical family.
We write and record songs in the comfort of Paul's home and then do a number of gigs at various pubs in London and Liverpool singing to backing tracks.
It was during the second half of 2008 we started gigging more with a band, playing various venues accross London and fine tuning our sound. We picked up many experieces along the way as we were constantly learning and with an ever growing loyal fanbase, we knew we were onto something!
Bringing together many different influences from us, our sound fuses together many styles including, Rock, Pop, Funk, Soul and Ska making the whole listening experience quite unique.
With catchy songs, meaningful lyrics, plenty of grooves, we are already making an impressive impact on the shows we have currently played and we continue to fine-tune and define our live sound.
